The Wounded Soldiers Foundation.org's mission is to provide the tools necessary for soldiers with life changing injuries to communicate with family, friends, fellow soldiers and organizations available to assist in their rehabilitation. The power of communications assists in healing, mental health and ultimately education for the next chapter of their lives.
Lack of communication is a lock on ther future, The Wounded Soldiers Foundation is the key to set them free.

The idea of the Wounded Soldiers Foundation came about in September 2008 when an IED claimed the life of one and seriously injured another when on a mission to keep the roads safe for soilders and civilians on the roads of Iraq. These brave men and women put their lives on the line everyday so that those threats don't find their way to the U.S. The soldiers with serious injurys can be bedridden for months on end with no way of communication with family (including their military family) or friends. Our dream is to distrubute computers to them so that they can reach out to their world, and allow them to begin again with online education.
